Bishop Sunniva Gylver

Sunniva Gylver, born 1967 in Denmark, is bishop in the Church of Norway, the diocese of Oslo. She has been a public Christian voice in the Norwegian society since her ordination as minister/pastor in 1995, and in 2006, she was the first woman to speak in a Norwegian mosque. Gylver is a requested speaker and author of several books on faith, existential topics, Christian-Muslim dialogue, and grief. She is a widow, the mother of three, and lives with her dog, Milla.
