Nasim, also known as DJ Daeva, is an Oslo-based DJ and artist, born and raised in Tehran. Rhythms travel like people—carriers of stories, rooted in one place yet constantly meeting and creating new expressions. As a DJ, she seeks the bridges they build, where distant sounds meet and dance together. Since 2004, she has been a distinctive voice on Oslo’s club scene and at festivals across Norway, performing at venues including Cosmopolite, Blå, Riksscenen, the National Museum, Telemark Festival, and Oslo Pride. She is also the founder of 1001 Sound, a monthly event at Dattera til Hagen, inviting audiences on a sonic and kinetic journey across continents.
