Marianthi Antoniou

Marianthi is a committed human rights advocate with a strong focus on child rights and participation. With experience across Greece, Poland, Germany, France, and online platforms, she has worked in both formal and non-formal educational settings. Her academic background, including a master’s degree in Human Rights and Multiculturalism from Norway, deepened her interest in human rights education.

Since joining the European Wergeland Centre in August 2023, Marianthi has contributed to projects that promote inclusive, participatory learning environments. Her work is driven by a belief that education should empower children to think critically, reflect, and actively engage in their learning journeys. As both a teacher and educator, she is passionate about creating spaces where children are not just learners, but active participants in shaping their educational experiences.
