Miguel Muñoz Carmona

With a degree in Environmental Sciences, Miguel Muñoz Carmona is one of the environmental technicians who has been part of the SEO/BirdLife team for more than thirteen years. He is currently one of the coordinators of the LIBERA project, which was created in 2017 to curb the consequences of abandoned rubbish in natural spaces in different Spanish ecosystems. This initiative was created by Spain’s leading environmental NGO, SEO/BirdLife, in alliance with Ecoembes, the non-profit environmental organisation that promotes the circular economy through the recycling of packaging. Its aim is to raise awareness and mobilise citizens to keep natural spaces free of waste so that we can, in this way, release much more life in favour of biodiversity.
