Naomi Kennedy

Naomi Kennedy joined ACT in 2024 as Curriculum and Resources Manager. She leads ACT’s work on supporting teachers and educators with high-quality curriculum and developing active learning pedagogies. A trained primary school teacher, she has over 15 years’ experience in curriculum development for both citizenship and careers education. She has extensive experience in developing learning resources and education programmes for both primary and secondary-aged young people. Prior to working at ACT, Naomi spent 12 years at the youth empowerment and participation charity Young Citizens. She has held a number of roles, from outreach manager for active citizenship projects to education manager overseeing the development of learning resources. Naomi has also acted as a consultant for curriculum development, working with a range of organisations. Outside of work, when Naomi is not busy with her young family, she enjoys cycling, running and is also a member of various choirs.
