Dr Nina Alonso is an education researcher, storyteller, and convener working at the intersection of education, civic engagement, and social innovation. She serves as Director of Storytelling at The Educators’ Lab, where she leads initiatives that amplify educators’ voices, document transformative practices, and foster global communities of learning and action. With a PhD in Education from the University of Cambridge and extensive experience across Europe, Africa, and Latin America, Nina has spent her career creating spaces for dialogue, collaboration, and collective problem-solving. She is the creator and host of Teacher’s Voices, a global podcast featuring more than 150 interviews with teachers and education leaders from around the world. Nina is also the founder of Anti-bélicos, a civic education and intergenerational dialogue initiative exploring memory, democracy, peace, and social responsibility through storytelling. Her work focuses on the power of human stories to build trust, strengthen democratic culture, and inspire educational and social change.
