
Ophélie Masson
Ophélie is the Deputy Director of European Alternatives, she explores the practice of direct and participative democracy to implement sustainable tools such as citizens assemblies and ECIs at European levels. She co-coordinates the coalition Citizens Take Over Europe made of 60+ civil society organisations, to define new common narratives for citizens and residents of Europe who wish to enhance their political participation through innovative processes.
Ophélie is also a committed LGBTQI+ activist, in her role as chair of the Board of IGLYO – an international network of youth queer organisations present in more than 40 countries – she defends the rights and the visibility of young LGBTQI+ people at grassroot and international level.
