Stefan Balog Romea

Stefan Balog Romea is the Manager of the ROMEA scholarship programme for Romani high school and university students, member of the Education Convention of the Czech Ministry of Education, expert on education and Romani issues in the Czech school system. He studied genetics at Charles University in Prague and economics at the Czech University of Life Sciences. He worked at the Ministry of Health, and then at the Government Office. He works with other non-profit organizations to ensure that young Roma receive a better quality education. For several years he has been running summer schools and camps focused on civic education.
